(anyone yodeling?) synonyms: detest, hate, loathe, abhor, execrate, deplore, dislike I might have touched on this topic in a previous post, but while browsing Amazon for more reads today, I landed on some poor author's page and was stunned to find a slew of bad reviews with low star scores because of this topic. It IS one word (compound) by the way, but that isn't today's topic issue. I think the phrase Teaser Cash  is funny. Not for the poor author, though 😢 However, if they ARE cliffhanging with a purpose, then I don't feel sorry for them and instead say Shame On You! Please note the 'dates' on these reviews... which says authors continue to do this regardless of what a host of readers have railed against for awhile now. STOP DOING THIS! Week 11 - Plot Away... My Writing Process ...and I say PLODDING (not plotting) because it's what I do when I write. I've tried being disciplined and even bought a white board, pretty colored white board markers, the eraser, and lots of colorful sticky notes with the intention of pasting them all around my monitor for referencing. But it never works out that way. My kids take the sticky notes and use them for their own purposes, the white board is somewhere in my writing room (the den), and the markers are still unopened in a wicker basket stuffed with other assorted pens, pencils, and colored markers. Still, there is a method to my madness. IDEAS I'm usually careful about jotting down any/all ideas that pop into my head because most of us probably know the old saying about THAT, right? Still, there are times when I forget to write it down, but eventually the thought will return at some point, so I don't worry too much about forgetting things. RES...

WEEK 10 - Seven Guilty Pleasures Only 7? 😈 Actually, this is a high number for me because it took so long to reach the limit. However, in an old-school sense of the word, the guilt threshold remains rather high, so I've narrowed it down to those that are most cringe-y if anyone (face-to-face) were to find out. In no particular order, they are: #1 Watching Asian Dramas ... for the eye candy, really. It's a bit like reading Indie Romance novels... you get what you pay for (free) and eight times out of ten, you'll probably regret having watched (or read). Depending on who stars, of course. And at my age, this can be utterly shameful if said guilty pleasure is mentioned in the wrong setting or circle. This is Week #9 of the Challenge and I am late to the party so am not included in the Blog Hop list below. Which is fine (I hope?) I actually don't care for the word WORDS (werdz) because it just sounds weird. However, As writers (so I'm told) we're supposed to love all (the) words. Not me!
