I really tried, but the filthy language and awful writing forced me to stop after only 25% and I'm not about to apologize for it, either.
Edgy isn't what I look for in a novel of any type, and this was too in-your-face for my liking.
Do some authors think that by dropping F-bombs all over the place, they will somehow look better than their elementary-level writing skills?
Commas wherever, fragments whenever, the word Highland in the title being a complete misnomer, and enough misused, misspelled words to counter the same number of swear words included in this "bad ass" excuse for a Romance.
No thanks.
I just hope this isn't par-for-the-course when it comes to Shifter Romance novels, because sadly, this was the first one I've ever read.

Hello, again. Sorry about missing last week's challenge (Favorite Novel Quotes) AND not being able to read or comment on the posts from the week before! I don't know what happened, but not only couldn't I open the MFRW Author Blog page to find the links, the links refused to appear on my blog, so I had no way of joining the hop and was very upset. However illusory the ideal may be, it is the one that, more than any other, drives the psyche of the Romantic poet forward. Wordsworth's Ideal Man Welcome back, friends, to Week 19 of the MFRW Author 52-Week Blog Challenge. This week, we're asked to describe The Ideal Romance Hero . I write AND read romance, but that doesn't mean I feel confident or sure about my response, and I needed to give this one some serious thought prior to setting fingers to keyboard.
